Kingston astronaut

QECVI invited the grade 8's to a real astronaut.

First he did an introductions, and explained to us what his missions in space were for. He showed us some  pictures like stars and him on space walk's. He took some cool videos of him & his crew having fun with no gravity. They did backflips and frontflips. This one guy did a triple frontflip and hit his head on a roll of duck tape.

Last, he showed us a some videos. This one student from QE gave him a raider nation bag to remember QE when he was in space. Then he took a picture with the grade 8 class and we when back to school.

The house with the huanted spirte broke free and somebody has to stop it befor it destroy's the world.

Book Talk: Sold

Sold is a book about human traficing. The main characters name is lakshmi and she gets sold to her "ant" from her parents to be a maid. Then instead of being a maid she is a sex slave. She is in a house with alot more sex slaves. When she still thinks shes a maid she goes to this persons house and she gets raped.

Corn Maze.

When we went to the Corn maze it was very cold and muddy. All the Grade sixes were being annoying and almost made us late for the fairy back to kingston. In my group there was Donte, Will, Callie, Dylan, Quintan, and me. when we first started the maze it was easy and slowley got harder. Quintan was the first one to fall in the mud. when we finished the maze Callie had not triped in the mud so Will triped her and her back got covered in mud.
